As a Frontend Software Engineer at Tesla, you will build and enhance internal tools that optimize the design, permitting, and installation of Tesla Energy and Vehicle products. Your work will contribute to a scalable platform that streamlines energy installation processes from start to finish.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop & Support: Build applications and systems under the team’s scope
✅ Write Clean Code: Ensure code is maintainable, performant, and well-tested
✅ Testing & QA: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and support regression testing
✅ Monitor & Debug: Track live system metrics, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot issues
✅ Technical Improvements: Investigate current system functionalities and suggest improvements
✅ Collaboration: Work with Product, Design, and Business teams for planning and development
✅ Project Ownership: Lead feature development from design to production release
✅ Scalability & Maintainability: Improve system performance, reliability, and documentation

📌 Required Skills & Qualifications

🎓 Education:
✔ B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)

✔ Web Technologies: Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, AJAX, and JSON
✔ Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6), and DOM manipulation

✔ API Knowledge: In-depth understanding of REST principles and best practices
✔ React Expertise: Solid grasp of React core design principles and patterns
✔ Frontend Tools: Experience with Vite, NPM, Yarn, etc.
✔ Bonus: Knowledge of GraphQL is a big plus
