Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Unisys, you will gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering concepts, tools, and best practices. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow under guidance from experienced security professionals.
You will assist in deploying and managing security tools, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and supporting security audits. Over time, you’ll build a strong understanding of how enterprise security systems are designed, operated, and improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain familiarity with cybersecurity engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies
- Assist with the deployment of security tools such as:
- Firewalls
- Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
- Anti-virus and endpoint protection solutions
- Support administration and updates of security tools and platforms
- Perform network scanning to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps
- Assist with system modifications, upgrades, and security enhancements
- Participate in incident response activities, including:
- Investigation of security incidents
- Analysis of breaches and threats
- Supporting remediation efforts
- Assist in coordinating security audits and compliance activities
- Support evaluation of security products and tools
