Role Overview

As a .Net API Technical Support Engineer, you will provide second-level support to internal stakeholders and third-party engineers, troubleshoot complex API-related issues, and contribute to the seamless integration of Thomson Reuters products with customer systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer technical expertise on complex API-related issues.
  • Collaborate with product support and development teams.
  • Provide remote troubleshooting and issue resolution for customer sites.
  • Support alpha/beta testing programs and provide customer feedback.
  • Conduct technical training for frontline support and external partners.
  • Deliver pre-sales technical demonstrations and offer architectural advice.
  • Maintain site documentation and escalate recurring issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and API trends.

  • Programming Skills: .Net/.NET Core development experience.
  • API Expertise: Hands-on experience with developing/consuming REST APIs, tools such as Postman, Swagger, and formats like JSON.

  • Troubleshooting: Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
