Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer (Azure) at Synopsys, you will be responsible for managing the build, release, automation, and environment management processes across distributed engineering teams. The role involves working on Windows and Linux systems, maintaining build pipelines, automating processes, enhancing CI/CD systems, managing third-party dependencies, and supporting development teams with scalable DevOps solutions. Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end build, release, and environment workflows for engineering teams
• Deploy, maintain, and enhance software development environments including Visual Studio, IDEs, compilers, and MPI
• Perform DevOps tasks such as monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and testing of product builds
• Work with Windows and Linux systems to support build and packaging processes for ANSYS FBU software
• Maintain and enhance internal testing tools and test result databases
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production stages
• Update and manage third-party libraries, dependencies, and integrations
• Collaborate with development teams to adapt build systems to new requirements
• Automate workflows and integrate them with CI tools like Azure DevOps
• Set up, configure, and maintain scalable build agents
• Investigate and fix build, runtime, compilation, and linker errors
• Work closely with software engineering, testing, infrastructure, and IT teams
• Contribute to continuous improvements in DevOps processes and best practices
