Role Overview
As a Data Science Analyst, you will support Shell’s process-analytics projects by preparing, analyzing, and visualizing event-based process data. You will work with experienced data scientists and engineers to support modeling, process insights, data pipelines, and process mining initiatives using tools like Python, SQL, Power BI, Celonis, and SAP Signavio. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals looking to grow in data analytics and process intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, and transform process event data for analysis
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Build dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Plotly Dash, or similar tools
- Support feature design and testing for process-performance models
- Assist in building and maintaining process data pipelines
- Integrate data from enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow
- Support process-mining work using Celonis EMS, SAP Signavio, or PM4Py
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and quality assurance
- Learn and apply concepts of Responsible AI and Explainable AI
