Role Overview
As an RTX Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of engine control system software. Interns participate in model-based design, coding, and testing, gaining exposure to real-world aerospace engineering projects and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand engine control system software technical requirements and Pratt & Whitney processes
- Develop design concepts from requirements and select optimal solutions using trade-off techniques
- Apply engineering tools and techniques in day-to-day activities

- Develop test cases, procedures, and automated scripts to verify software compliance
- Load and test software on controller hardware and analyze results
