🛠 Job Role – Associate Software Engineer (Java Support)

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Java Support Engineer to provide L3/L4 technical support for applications and product architecture. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve customer issues efficiently.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

✔ Provide L3/L4 technical support for Rockwell’s applications and solutions.
✔ Troubleshoot product/application issues and escalate when necessary.
✔ Analyze & resolve technical and functional customer issues within SLAs.
✔ Interact with customers via email, phone, or on-site visits to understand issues.
✔ Document customer issues, resolutions, and case management records.
✔ Follow up on customer feedback for continuous product improvement.
✔ Ensure client systems remain operational, and restore services when disrupted.
✔ Manage multiple client queries via calls & emails, escalating complex issues.
✔ Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction.

📌 Required Skills & Qualifications

🎓 Educational Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MCA, MCS, BCS, or equivalent.

💻 Technical Skills:
✔ Java programming – Good understanding of Java development.
✔ Database & SQL – Proficiency in SQL query writing & database management.
✔ Application troubleshooting – Strong debugging & problem-solving skills.
✔ Client-server architecture – Understanding of distributed systems.
✔ MES software knowledge – Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
✔ Performance & network troubleshooting – Basic understanding of system performance issues.

🌟 Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
✔ Experience with Rockwell’s FactoryTalk Production Centre & PharmaSuite.
✔ Knowledge of Pharma or Manufacturing processes.
✔ Previous experience in MES application support.
✔ Familiarity with performance, network, and hardware troubleshooting.
