This is a 6-month full-time opportunity that will allow you to work on cutting-edge robotic systems, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). As part of this internship, you will collaborate with a skilled team of engineers to develop ROS-based software solutions for navigation and control systems, and earn a stipend of ₹12,500/month.
What You’ll Do
As a Robotics Software Development Intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the engineering team to design, develop, and test ROS-based software solutions for robotic navigation and control.
- Assisting in the building and testing of ROS nodes, services, and topics to ensure seamless communication within robotic systems.
- Participating in the construction of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Optimizing algorithms and systems to enhance the performance and reliability of robotic controls.
- Engaging in code reviews and virtual meetings to integrate and review code with the team, ensuring efficient and compatible software modules.

What Skills Are Required?
To thrive in this internship, you should possess:
- Proficiency in C++ programming, Python, and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Knowledge of sensor technologies, computer vision, and machine learning for robotic perception.
- Practical experience in sensor fusion, calibration, and tuning to optimize robotic systems.
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Eligibility Criteria
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Available for a full-time (in-office) internship for 6 months.
- Able to start the internship between 28th Dec’24 and 1st Feb’25.
- Possess relevant skills and a strong interest in robotics.
