Role Overview – Engineer, AI Test
The Engineer – AI Test role focuses on testing AI assistant applications, AI Orchestrator SDKs, and intelligent agents running on Qualcomm mobile chipsets. These systems integrate Generative AI models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and Android subsystems to deliver personalized user experiences.
In this role, you will perform system-level testing, develop test strategies, automate test execution, analyze logs, debug issues, and collaborate closely with software developers, system designers, and program managers to bring AI-powered features from development to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
Test AI assistant applications, AI Orchestrator SDKs, and AI agents on Qualcomm mobile platforms
Perform system-level feature testing focused on functionality, performance, and stress scenarios
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for AI-enabled systems
Validate integration of GenAI models including LLMs and RAG-based architectures
Design and execute automation scripts for test execution and regression validation
Analyze logs, triage failures, and debug complex system-level issues
Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across Android HLOS and subsystems
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including software development, system design, customer support, and program management
Support integration, testing, and commercialization of AI Orchestrator deliverables
Ensure high quality, reliability, and performance of AI features on production devices

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong understanding of Android application technologies and Android HLOS subsystems
