Key Responsibilities of a QA Engineer
✅ Test Strategy Development
- Participate in specification and architecture reviews, providing feedback on risks and gaps.
- Define test strategies and test plans with functional and non-functional test cases.
- Ensure compliance with CI/CD, Green IT, and quality guidelines like ISTQB standards.
✅ Test Expertise and Execution
- Design and execute test cases and scripts.
- Prepare test environments and test data.
- Provide go/no-go sign-off for tested features based on exit criteria.
- Continuously update regression tests for CI/CD pipelines.
✅ Test Automation
- Identify areas suitable for test automation.
- Use and contribute to test automation frameworks.

- Ensure defect fixes and give final approval for production defect loads.
