As an Android Intern, you will work on Poshmark’s rapidly growing multi-platform social marketplace. You will help develop new user experiences, solve challenging technical problems, and implement features that may directly run in production.
This is not a shadow role — interns contribute real code that impacts millions of users.
What You’ll Be Doing
During the internship, you will:
- Develop product features that delight the Poshmark community
- Collaborate with product and design teams to refine feature requirements
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and corresponding test cases
- Implement best practices and design patterns in Android development

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Basic experience in Android development using Kotlin or Java
- Familiarity with Android Studio
- Knowledge of software design patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP)
- Understanding of activity/fragment lifecycle management
- Knowledge of REST APIs integration
- Familiarity with Git version control
- Exposure to dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger)
- Understanding of Kotlin coroutines
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
- Experience building Android apps (Play Store apps preferred)
- Knowledge of SQL queries and database normalization
- Understanding of unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
