As a Software Engineer I in the Geographies & Marketplace Experiences (GaME) team, you’ll report to the Engineering Manager at India Technology Center. You’ll work closely with a team of dedicated engineers, sharing your expertise and contributing to long-term strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant supply chain solutions to support Nike’s digital transformation.
- Contribute to new feature development and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring high coding standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.
- Work in an agile environment, promoting continuous collaboration.
- Ensure end-to-end ownership of projects, including implementation, observability, and maintenance.

Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Mandatory Requirements:
✔️ 1-3 years of software development experience.
✔️ Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot framework.
✔️ Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful services.
✔️ Proficiency in cloud-based environments such as AWS, GCE, Azure.
✔️ Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB.
✔️ Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle.
✔️ Hands-on experience with test-driven development (Junit, Mockito, Cucumber).
✔️ Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, SignalFx.
✔️ Understanding of agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
✔️ Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
➕ Experience in designing scalable web applications.
➕ Exposure to eCommerce and supply chain domains (inventory/order/logistics management).
➕ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation tools.
