Job Role Overview

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee, your primary focus will be the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of mobile and web applications. These applications are vital to national-scale systems in identity, biometrics, and public safety. You will work under the guidance of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and collaborate with dynamic project teams on live, fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile and web applications for identity and security projects
• Collaborate with teams on high-profile applications for law enforcement and biometrics
• Implement and maintain solutions using modern frameworks and architectures
• Write clean, scalable code and perform debugging and performance tuning
• Participate in testing and deployment processes and work with APIs, databases, and version control systems

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Mobile development frameworks: Flutter, React.js, Node.js, Python
• Mobile platforms: Android & iOS
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and mobile libraries for networking
• Ability to write automated tests
• Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVP, MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture
• Knowledge of Git, push notifications, design patterns, and SQL
• Understanding of web technologies like HTML/HTML5, XML, and socket-based client/server programming
• Knowledge of SOAP & RESTful APIs, network channel troubleshooting, and cross-platform communication
