Role & Responsibilities
As an AI Engineer at Meltwater, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions, from concept to production and continuous optimization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and building LLM-powered applications and data enrichment pipelines
- Developing multi-agent and autonomous AI workflows for user-facing systems
- Implementing advanced prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and orchestration strategies
- Building and maintaining RAG systems using vector databases and semantic search
- Deploying AI services at scale using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring AI systems for performance, cost efficiency, hallucination rates, and response quality
- Creating automated evaluation frameworks and fallback mechanisms for LLM applications
- Ensuring AI systems meet enterprise-grade security, reliability, and compliance standards
- Collaborating closely with product managers, data scientists, and platform engineers
- Continuously improving AI systems based on user feedback and production metrics

Core Requirements
- Strong experience building and deploying AI-powered applications
- Excellent programming skills in Python (Java/Kotlin familiarity is a plus)
- Solid understanding of API design and integration
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI frameworks
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Knowledge of vector databases and RAG systems (OpenSearch, ElasticSearch)
- Strong prompt engineering and agent orchestration skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring & logging

- Experience with NLP, computer vision, speech-to-text, or deep learning
- Knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow
