Role Overview
The Software Engineer / Research Engineer role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to Medpace’s global clinical research infrastructure. You’ll be involved in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support data-driven decision-making across clinical operations.
You’ll collaborate with international teams, utilize C#, SQL, and ASP.NET, and gain exposure to cloud platforms like Azure — all while helping to modernize Medpace’s digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and document user requirements for research and software tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications following SDLC principles.
- Participate in the software validation process by creating and executing test plans and cases.
- Work on object-oriented programming (C#), SQL databases, and web applications (ASP.NET).
- Communicate effectively with global teams to align tools and processes.
- Contribute to system modernization and cloud migration (Azure platform).
- Potentially lead development projects as part of Medpace’s India expansion.
