Role Overview
As an Engineering Intern – Automations, you will work closely with engineers, operations teams, and customer-facing teams to ensure that Kintsugi AI’s automation workflows run smoothly, reliably, and at scale.
The Automations team is responsible for converting manual tax workflows into low-code and code-based automation pipelines, using tools such as n8n, browser-based RPA solutions like Sola, and internal APIs. You’ll gain real-world exposure to automation architecture, system integrations, AI-enabled workflows, and production troubleshooting.
This role is especially valuable for candidates interested in backend engineering, automation platforms, and AI-powered SaaS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automation workflows using tools like n8n, Sola, and internal APIs
- Monitor automation pipelines to ensure uptime, reliability, and correctness
- Troubleshoot workflow failures and diagnose automation issues in production
- Provide technical support to Customer Success and Onboarding teams
- Assist with workflow configuration, bug triaging, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to document and optimize business processes
- Test new automation workflows before production release
