Role Overview – Trainee IT Operations (Oracle EBS)
In this role, you will be part of Itron’s IT Operations team, responsible for providing remote IT and business systems support across a global enterprise environment. The role focuses heavily on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) support, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and collaboration with business users and Oracle support teams.

Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality customer service and IT support for Oracle EBS and enterprise infrastructure systems
Handle functional assistance incidents raised by business users
Analyze issues, replicate problems, and implement changes where required
Resolve simple, complex, and critical service requests across IT infrastructure
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and document resolutions
Provide timely status updates and reports for incidents, service requests, and changes
Collaborate with super users to resolve reported Oracle EBS incidents
Use Oracle Support resources and raise Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle when needed
Work in night shifts and support global users across multiple time zones

Required Skills
Good knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Basic understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work directly with Oracle end users and internal customers
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work in rotational or night shifts
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Certifications in Oracle SQL, Oracle EBS, or Oracle Cloud
Exposure to enterprise IT support environments
Experience (academic or practical) with Oracle-based systems
