Role Overview
As a Graduate Engineer at Iris Software, you will work in the Quality Engineering domain and contribute to testing, automation, and defect management for enterprise applications. The role provides hands-on exposure to modern testing tools, frameworks, and collaborative global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement test strategies and test plans
- Understand requirements and participate in test design activities
- Create and execute automation test scripts for critical features
- Perform web, API, mobile, and data testing as required
- Use tools such as UFT, Selenium, RestAssured, and Appium
- Execute data testing using SQL; Python knowledge is an added advantage
- Provide improvement ideas for automation frameworks
- Collaborate with Offshore QE Managers to resolve testing issues
- Track estimates, defects, and testing status reports
- Take ownership of deliverables and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings
- Plan and design tests using ConformIQ or Hexawise
