Role Overview

As a Cloud Security Engineer I, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the security of SaaS applications and cloud environments. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement security measures, monitor threats, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to develop their skills in cloud security, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity while working with leading cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for SaaS applications
✅ Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats
✅ Define technical security requirements for cloud workloads, including IAM, Security Groups, and CI/CD pipelines
✅ Research and design cloud security solutions to improve compliance with NIST and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) guidelines
✅ Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to optimize cloud security controls
✅ Support cloud transformation projects, implementing security technologies and processes
✅ Apply patches, upgrades, and security enhancements for cloud-based applications
✅ Provide metrics and reports on security-related projects
✅ Investigate and report emerging security trends in cloud environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

🔹 Education: B.Tech in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
🔹 Experience: 0-2 years in an information security role
🔹 Cloud Security: Experience with AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud security solutions
🔹 DevSecOps & Automation: Knowledge of cloud deployment orchestration and security automation
🔹 Programming: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and JSON scripting
🔹 Security Frameworks: Understanding of SOX, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO, GDPR, SOC1/2 compliance
🔹 Security Tools: Exposure to Prisma Cloud, Wiz, McAfee CASB, SIEM (QRadar/Splunk), IAM, Palo Alto Firewalls
🔹 Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities
