Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation code for PowerVS data center operations
- Automate runbooks, monitoring, data collection, log processing, backup, and restore tasks
- Reduce manual toil using Python, Bash, Ansible, and related tools
- Automate infrastructure updates for systems like VIOS, firmware, PowerVC, HMC, and Linux/AIX servers
- Build automation to manage user IDs, passwords, and remote administration
- Maintain and manage cloud stock images in PowerVS environments

Required Skills
- Strong scripting experience in Python and shell scripting (Bash)
- Experience with Ansible and automation tools
- Knowledge of Linux and/or AIX administration
- Understanding of networking basics
- Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, DevOps, CI/CD, and Terraform
- Strong communication skills and an automation-first mindset
Preferred Skills
- IBM AIX, VIOS, PowerVC configuration experience
- IBM Cloud CLI, APIs, and Terraform
- Knowledge of IBM Power Systems, Storage Systems, Cisco ACI, Juniper vSRX
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios or ELK Stack
