Role Overview
As a Honeywell Embedded Engineer I, you will:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for aerospace systems
- Facilitate certification activities to meet industry standards
- Analyze complex technical problems and develop solutions independently
- Contribute to software development across bare-metal and RTOS environments
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver high-quality software

Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software using C/C++ on ROTS, bare-metal, or certified platforms
- Design and implement Board Support Packages (BSP), device drivers, and middleware software
- Work with network/communication stacks like ARINC 429, RS422, RS232, and Ethernet
- Participate in low-level and high-level requirements development, testing, review, and integration
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware/software issues efficiently
- Support software certification processes (DO-178C knowledge is a plus)
- Collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders across global teams
