Your Role: Building End-to-End AI Systems

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Build & Ship Features: Design, build, and maintain full-stack features in Node and Next.js that integrate complex LLM and retrieval systems.
- Implement RAG Pipelines: Develop and own entire Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines: from text ingestion and chunking to vector storage and response synthesis.
- Orchestrate AI Workflows: Utilize frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or LlamaIndex to orchestrate sophisticated multi-agent systems and retrieval flows.
- Optimize Database Performance: Design and optimize data models and queries in MongoDB for low latency and high concurrency.
- Implement Caching Strategies: Integrate and manage caching layers using Redis to enhance performance for embeddings and search results.
- Focus on Performance & Cost: Work on improving the observability, performance, and cost-efficiency of AI services.
