Key Responsibilities
1. Data Modeling and Analysis
- Use R/Python to analyze large earthquake damage data sets and perform statistical analysis.
- Identify key insights from data to assess earthquake risks and present findings.
2. Collaborate with Teams
- Work with the global earthquake development team to define project goals and deliverables.
- Assist in automating existing workflows by creating reproducible codes.
3. Present Complex Data Insights
- Present analysis and findings clearly to the team and stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights are delivered.
4. Improve Models
- Contribute to model improvement by analyzing and interpreting earthquake model results.

About the Team
The Model Development group at RMS is focused on creating industry-leading stochastic catastrophe models for the quantification and management of risks. The Analytics team is responsible for analyzing and interpreting the results of in-house earthquake models and turning insights into actionable improvements for model quality.
