Role: Graduate Trainee 💼
As an Episode Six Graduate Trainee, you’ll undergo structured training while working closely with senior engineers, QA teams, and operations teams. The role combines software development lifecycle exposure, testing, production support, and client-facing system monitoring, giving you a 360-degree understanding of fintech operations.
This role also requires flexibility, including shift-based work across APAC, UK, and US time zones, along with rotational weekend production support.
Key Responsibilities 📌
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to build job-specific skills
- Understand and apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Write, debug, and troubleshoot software and applications
- Assist in testing, validation, and support of software solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Support maintenance and upgrades of existing applications
- Analyze application logs and database validations
- Monitor email alerts from production and lower environments
- Be vigilant during production deployments and monitor system alerts
- Identify job execution errors and coordinate with Support & Operations teams
- Develop detailed test cases based on requirements
- Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects
- Validate test results against entry and exit criteria
- Debug client-reported issues and reproduce them in test environments
- Participate in code reviews to improve technical skills
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
- Willingness to work in APAC, UK, and US shifts, including weekends on rotation

- Understanding of software development concepts
- Experience or exposure to programming and code writing

- Familiarity with software and hardware systems
