Role Overview
As a Software Developer at Emerson, you will play a key role in translating digital transformation goals into scalable AI-driven agent solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing AI-enabled applications and agent-based solutions.
- Implementing AI agents within the Ovation Intelligence ecosystem.
- Collaborating with AI engineers, software developers, and domain SMEs.
- Designing and contributing to the Agent Builder platform used for diagnostics, automation, and engineering workflows.
- Ensuring AI agents improve operator awareness, reduce troubleshooting time, and enable predictive maintenance.
- Working closely with Engineering, UX, QA, and Architecture teams to define deployment strategies.
- Partnering with Cybersecurity teams to enforce strict security standards for AI solutions.
- Aligning with infrastructure teams for compute, GPU usage, and performance optimization.

Skills & Qualifications Required
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML, or related fields.
Experience:
- 1–5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development, deployment, and optimization.
- Experience working with LLMs, RAG systems, and agent architectures.
- Understanding of distributed systems, cloud or on-prem architectures, and APIs.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle including testing, validation, and deployment.
