Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Emerson, you will:

• System Architecture: Design and finalize appropriate Historian solutions.
• Scope Finalization: Review customer RFQs and define scope of work & BOM.
• Database Management: Install and configure database servers.
• Data Handling: Manage data ingress/egress to/from database servers.
• Visualization Development: Create graphics, reports, and dashboards for analytics.
• System Configuration: Configure IOs and install OPC/OEM communication drivers.
• Project Documentation: Assist lead engineers with technical documentation and reporting.
• Testing & Deployment: Support in QA/QC testing, firewall configurations, and deployment.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Requirements:

• 0-1 years of experience in Industrial Software Applications.
• Basic knowledge of OPC/ODBC communication interfaces.
• Understanding of QA/QC testing procedures and checklists.
• Familiarity with firewall configurations, Lua/VB scripting, and MS Office tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in any Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) language.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.
• Willingness to travel globally for project deployments.
• Ability to work well within a team and meet project deadlines.
