Role Overview
As a SW Test Development Engineer 1 – Phone Compatibility, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the performance, accuracy, and reliability of Dexcom’s mobile applications and digital health products.
This role involves developing and executing automated test scripts, conducting software verification, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards in compliance with medical device regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in software requirements and design reviews to ensure test coverage and compliance.
- Create software verification plans, risk analyses, and test protocols for commercial health products.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Python.
- Perform mobile app testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Validate configurations, user interfaces, and functionalities of Dexcom software tools.
- Use tools like Appium, Android Studio, ADB, and Xcode for automation and debugging.
- Record and track defects using JIRA and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Prepare detailed test reports and documentation in line with Dexcom’s validation procedures.
- Follow internal cybersecurity and regulatory standards during all validation activities.
