Roles and Responsibilities for Desktop Support Engineer at Zycus

As a Desktop Support Engineer at Zycus, you will be responsible for:

• Installing and Configuring Microsoft Products: Handle issues related to operating systems like Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and other business applications such as MS Office and Outlook.
• Supporting IT Infrastructure: Provide troubleshooting and support for desktops, thin clients, laptops, printers, and scanners.
• Migration and Deployment: Assist in the migration and deployment of desktops and laptops based on company standards.
• Remote Support: Use tools like Skype for Business and WebEx to provide technical support to overseas customers.
• Maintenance and Security: Ensure regular maintenance of desktops and assist with security updates, including virus updates and patch management.
• Incident Management: Address technical issues with non-technical associates using a logical approach and time management skills.

What We Are Looking for in a Candidate

Zycus is seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA/BCA, or MSc-IT.
• Freshers are welcome to apply! Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software is a plus (1-4 years).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to assist users remotely.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and incident management.
