Role Overview
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of the team developing Cepheid’s cloud-connected platform, a scalable, cloud-based system that provides administrative and analytics support for the GeneXpert product family.
This role involves hands-on development, system design, cloud architecture, testing automation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with stakeholders across engineering, quality assurance, marketing, and support teams to deliver reliable, high-quality healthcare software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities
- Design and implement next-generation cloud-based software products
- Create and maintain software documentation including requirement, functional, and design specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SQA, Marketing, Service, and Program Management
- Analyse customer and marketing requirements to guide product development
