π Location: Pune (Remote)

Key Responsibilities
As a Software Support Engineer at Canonical, you will:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, and Kubernetes
β
Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and contribute to upstream open-source communities
β
Work closely with Canonicalβs Field, Support, and Product Engineering teams
β
Provide technical support and guidance to large enterprise customers
β
Participate in team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation
β
Collaborate with developers globally in a distributed work environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
π Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field
π Strong experience with Linux and open-source software
π Proficiency in Python, Go, C, or C++ on Linux
π Ability to work on virtualization (KVM), storage (Ceph), networking (OVS, OVN), and cloud technologies
π Strong troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset
