Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, and integration testing using clean, reusable code.
- Write stable, data-driven tests for REST/gRPC services and web UI, enabling shift-left testing practices.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with clear pass/fail signals and flaky-test management.
- Create test plans, test data, and environments, using mocks and stubs when needed.
- Conduct defect triage and root-cause analysis, collaborating with developers and product teams to provide fast feedback.
- Track and improve quality metrics including test coverage, defect escape rate, build health, and mean time to fix.
- Contribute to code reviews, quality standards, and documentation, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Dev, QA, and Release teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.

Required Skills
- 0–2 years of SDET/QA Automation experience with strong coding skills in Java or Python (OOP, collections, debugging).
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI testing and REST API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or pytest-requests.
- Proficiency in JUnit/TestNG/pytest, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of testing levels (unit, integration, e2e), test design techniques, and test data management.
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
- Strong communication, ownership, and bias for automation over repetitive manual testing.
Good-to-Have Skills
