Role Overview
The Software Engineer (Full Stack) will design, develop, and maintain technology solutions aligned with business goals, particularly software applications in aircraft domains.
The role requires agility in transitioning between frontend and backend technologies, working in an Agile/DevOps environment, and contributing across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
- Refactor, modernize, and rewrite legacy code when required.
- Integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools and in-house engineering tools.
- Develop and deploy changes using DevOps pipelines.
- Produce high-quality, well-tested, and documented source code.
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and DevOps workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and create technical specifications.
- Research and evaluate new tools to improve development efficiency.
- Maintain application documentation and operational knowledge articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Engineering graduate (Computer Science or related field preferred).
- Knowledge of software/tool development (Full Stack or Backend preferred).
- Backend experience in Python, PERL, or Shell scripting preferred.
- Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux servers and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Kibana, CAST, Confluence, Jira/VersionOne.
- Basic understanding of AWS services.
- Knowledge of test frameworks (frontend and backend).
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices architecture, REST APIs.
- Experience in application modernization.
