Role Overview

The Research Intern – Quantum will contribute to IBM’s ongoing research in quantum computing, AI, and enterprise applications. Interns will be involved in training large language models, Qiskit development, quantum algorithm implementation, and deployment of AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Qiskit Development

  • Contribute to open-source quantum software development using Qiskit.

  • Coding experience in Rust is a plus.

2. AI for Quantum

  • Work on large language models, agentic AI, and reinforcement learning frameworks.
