Role Overview
The Jr. Testing role at Capco is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who are eager to work in regulatory reporting and financial testing. This full-time role in India involves:
- Performing regulatory reporting reviews
- Understanding bank balance sheets and key financial products across domains like FINREP, Liquidity, and Own Funds
- Documenting audit trails, data lineage, and system hops for review samples
This role also requires stakeholder engagement and collaboration with the Targeted Transaction Testing (TTT) team to prioritize reviews and report progress
Key Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Reporting Reviews
- Understand and interpret regulatory instructions.
- Identify BDEs and test criteria to execute reviews accurately.
- Evaluate transactions and determine Pass / Fail conclusions.
- Document audit trails, data lineage, and system hops for each sample.
- Update the central Book of Work with status and commentary for anomalies.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with the TTT team across multiple pods/products.
- Reach out to business teams for documentation requirements.
- Communicate findings clearly and provide updates to TTT Leads, POD Leads, and stakeholders.
3. Banking Knowledge & Reporting
- Understand a bank’s balance sheet and key products across domains.
- Prior experience in HSBC systems or IRR projects is highly preferable.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and follows prescribed formats.
