Role Overview: Intern – AI/ML
As an intern, you will work closely with the fabrication and design teams to automate processes that are currently manual and time-intensive. This role blends practical engineering knowledge with AI/ML applications to improve process efficiency in offshore wind turbine equipment development.
You’ll start with Excel-based automation and gradually integrate machine learning techniques to streamline fabrication reviews, cutting the process time drastically.
Responsibilities
You will convert a manual multi-day fabrication review process into a two-hour streamlined operation
You’ll develop automation tools and contribute to process optimization using Excel and ML models
Collaborate with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and design teams to understand the requirements and gather technical inputs
Introduce and experiment with AI/ML methodologies to improve the accuracy of fabrication reviews
Use student-licensed software provided by your university to analyze and simulate improvements
Provide transparent feedback to the team and showcase your understanding of assigned tasks regularly

Who Can Apply
Education: Engineering students in their pre-final or final year
Experience: No prior work experience required, but university project exposure in AI/ML or automation is preferred
Location: Must be available to work full-time from Bengaluru
