Role Overview:
As a Junior Data Scientist, you’ll contribute to building predictive models for solar and wind energy, using time-series data, satellite imagery, and large language models. You’ll join a dynamic team focused on optimizing asset performance, and leveraging cloud platforms to deliver real-time, scalable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Build, test, and deploy time-series forecasting models for renewable energy assets
- Develop asset performance models for equipment health prediction and preventive maintenance
- Apply LLMs for asset management solutions
- Create visual models from satellite and drone imagery
- Build dashboards and visualizations using Amazon QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau
- Manage large datasets from IoT sources using AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage
- Deploy models on cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and monitor performance
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to improve model accuracy and system reliability
