Role Overview – Software Engineer, Host Networking
As part of the Host Networking team, you’ll design and implement network transport solutions that support Meta’s distributed fleet of AI accelerators. You’ll help develop software for high-performance NICs and contribute to building scalable, production-ready networking stacks.

Responsibilities 🔧
- Develop drivers (or firmware) for Ethernet adapter functions and RDMA transport stacks
- Design control interfaces between host and accelerators
- Build integrated CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
- Bring up stacks in emulation and simulation environments
- Lead hardware bring-up and testing in large-scale infrastructure

| OS & Networking | Experience with Linux kernel, networking stack, and driver development |
| Transport Knowledge | Familiarity with RDMA (RoCEv2) transport stacks |
| Debugging Skills | Hands-on experience with large-scale systems |
| Location | Bangalore, India |
| Transfer Eligibility | Must remain in role for 24 months before switching roles or teams |
Preferred Skills 🛠️
- Experience with Qemu or FPGA emulation environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
