What Will You Do as an SDE I – iOS?

As a Software Development Engineer I (iOS), you will:

• Develop new product features for our iOS app using Swift/SwiftUI.
• Ensure optimal performance and high-quality, responsive app functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and maintain high code quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Deliver: Focus on building innovative features for the iOS application.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the app runs smoothly, focusing on performance, memory management, and responsiveness.
• Collaborative Design: Work closely with fellow engineers and product teams to deliver features that meet user needs.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code while reducing technical debt. Review code and propose best practices.

What You Will Need:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BE/BTech degree in any discipline.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in iOS development.
• Familiarity with iOS frameworks, including Swift, Xcode, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON encoding/decoding, and understanding of what makes them RESTful.
• Strong debugging skills, with a deep understanding of memory management, multithreading, and networking.
• Knowledge of unit testing and functional tests to ensure high-quality releases.
• Experience working with Git for version control.
