🎯 Role Overview

The Associate Oracle DBA Analyst role is an entry-level position in Application Managed Services. You’ll be responsible for:
✅ Monitoring & maintaining Oracle databases and enterprise applications (ERP, Middleware).
✅ Troubleshooting incidents and ensuring zero missed SLAs.
✅ Providing first-line support for application-related queries.
✅ Performing maintenance tasks such as patching, configuration changes, and database backup/recovery.
✅ Collaborating across teams to optimize database performance and client experience.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

🔹 Monitor & manage Oracle databases and enterprise applications.
🔹 Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related issues.
🔹 Handle service requests and provide chat/telephonic support.
🔹 Perform database maintenance (backups, recovery, patching, etc.).
🔹 Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
🔹 Ensure smooth shift handovers for continuous service operations.
🔹 Document knowledge articles and optimize work processes.
🔹 Support Disaster Recovery functions and tests.

📌 Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ 0 to 1 year experience in Oracle Database Administration.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
✔ Trained in Oracle E-Business Suite & latest Oracle DB versions.
✔ Familiarity with OS (Linux/Unix preferred).
✔ Basic knowledge of ERP, Middleware, Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle Webserver.
✔ Understanding of database backup & recovery strategies.
✔ Exposure to scripting (Shell, Python) is a plus.
✔ Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate (preferred).
✔ Excellent problem-solving & teamwork skills.
✔ Strong communication skills & ability to work under pressure.
