About the Internship
Incentius is looking for a DevOps Engineer Intern to join their dynamic team. As an intern, you’ll work on a wide range of DevOps tasks, including cloud, system, and network administration to support the organization’s infrastructure. If you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for cloud computing, this opportunity is for you!
Roles & Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer Intern at Incentius, you will:
- ☁️ Manage and administer AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- 📝 Document AWS architecture and assist in provisioning infrastructure.
- 🔍 Monitor and maintain cloud and on-premises servers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- 🛠️ Help develop monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for app reliability.
- 🧑💻 Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and security issues.
- 🔄 Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth app deployment.
- 🔐 Administer and maintain network components like VPNs, DNS, VLANs, and ACLs.
- 🖥️ Install, upgrade, and provision employee workstations (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- ⚙️ Ensure the security and privacy of company networks and systems.
- 📊 Stay updated with the latest DevOps and cloud computing trends.

Skills Required
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, WAN, VLANs).
- Experience with installing and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory and VPN administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of network security, routing, and firewall configurations.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (containerization).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, and monitoring tools.
- Advanced expertise in Active Directory and federated authentication.
