Role Overview
As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll work on cutting-edge hybrid cloud security solutions, contributing to deployment automation, software development, and infrastructure monitoring. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience with Rust, C, cloud deployment tools, and security best practices.

Responsibilities
🔹 Software Development & Automation:
- Contribute to the research, implementation, testing, and documentation of deployment automation.
- Improve Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and processes.
🔹 Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining current infrastructure.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize the performance of Fortanix software.
🔹 Cloud Security Platform Development:
- Design and develop backend components in Rust and C.
- Work on Runtime Encryption® software for SGX in Rust and C.
🔹 Collaboration & Documentation:
- Participate in a team-oriented environment and follow security best practices.
- Contribute to maintaining a friendly and helpful company culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications
✔ Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
✔ Understanding of software security principles and secure software development.
✔ Proficiency in at least one programming language: Rust, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go.
✔ Knowledge of software deployment tools such as Kubernetes or Docker.
✔ Strong debugging skills and excellent verbal and written communication.
✔ Understanding of scalable cloud software services and their performance optimization.
Preferred Skills
✨ Experience in Rust and/or C++.
✨ Basic knowledge of Cloud Architecture.
✨ Proficiency in technical communication with both peers and non-technical stakeholders.
