Job Responsibilities

1. High Performance Solutions: Deliver high-performance software solutions using software architecture patterns, best practices, and aspect-oriented programming.
2. Architect Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with architects to build the right solution the first time.
3. Product Team Collaboration: Work closely with product teams to ensure solutions achieve the business vision and are delivered to market on schedule.
4. Operations Support: Work closely with operations and support staff to ensure successful production delivery and hand-off post-release.
5. Scripting Languages: Use scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl to streamline tasks.
6. Database Management: Engage in database design with DB2 or Oracle and ensure efficient data handling.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 0+ years of software development experience with core Java and J2EE.
• Practical experience with JDK 1.6 or above.
• Experience with Spring and Struts frameworks and writing multithreaded applications.
• RESTful architecture and REST Web Services implementation.
• Proficiency in database design with DB2 or Oracle and good exposure to SQL.
• Strong OO Design and development skills.
• Creative problem solver and excellent communicator.
• Finance or payment industry experience is a plus.
