Role Overview – Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer at Qualys, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining test frameworks, automation scripts, and microservices-based applications. The role emphasizes quality, scalability, and performance while collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, document, and maintain test frameworks for UI and API functionality
- Develop automation scripts to enable high-quality microservices-based delivery
- Maintain automated test environments for unit, functional, and stress testing
- Setup and configure automation within CI-CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins
- Work closely with PMs and developers to create test plans and automation for new features
- Develop new testing tools and improve existing ones for diverse use cases
- Execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter
