Internship Overview
The AI Automation Engineer Intern position sits within EagleView’s IT Systems Department. Interns will help drive continuous delivery, developer enablement, and cloud cost optimization by building and improving automation solutions.
This role is ideal for candidates with a Python programming background, interest in AI-driven automation, and exposure to Microsoft automation tools such as Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with IT System Engineers and Platform Engineering teams to design and implement automation solutions
- Build and deploy AI-powered automation workflows using:
- Microsoft O365 Copilot Studio
- Power Automate
- Contribute to AI, ML, and Generative AI integration projects
- Support continuous delivery and developer enablement initiatives
- Apply DevOps best practices in automation and infrastructure workflows
- Develop monitoring dashboards and key metrics reports using Power BI or similar tools
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver efficient, scalable solutions
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior team members
- Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, Agile (SAFe) environment

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or similar programming languages
- Hands-on experience or exposure to:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio
- Power Automate
- Ability to design and deploy AI-driven automation solutions
- Familiarity with developer-focused Microsoft tools such as Power BI
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Experience or academic projects involving:
- AWS
- Jenkins
- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- Understanding of containerization using Docker
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
