Internship Overview
This AI Team Intern – SDE I role is designed for candidates with 0–2 years of software development experience, including strong internships, academic projects, or self-driven work in AI or backend development. The position is full-time, based in Bengaluru, with hands-on exposure to microservices, AI workflows, LLMs, cloud infrastructure, and developer tools.
Interns will participate in all phases of development, from design and coding to testing and optimization, and contribute to experimental AI projects, proof-of-concepts, and hackathons.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Capillary AI Team Intern, you will:
- Design and Develop: Write clean, testable, and scalable code in Python, NodeJS, or Java for aiRA Agents, internal analytics, configuration, and testing.
- Integrate AI Workflows: Build APIs and pipelines connecting LLMs, context stores, and brand-specific knowledge graphs.
- Work with Data & Context: Support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and schema orchestration for brand-aware AI agents.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product, UX, and data teams to implement features like predictive models, automated test suites, or loyalty flows.
- Monitor & Optimize: Track performance metrics, optimize latency, scalability, and cost-per-task, and write automated tests.
- Learn Fast, Ship Faster: Participate in hackathons, PoCs, and internal AI experiments, pushing the boundaries of Generative Loyalty.
