Role Overview
As a Software Engineer I at Zebra, you will work on:
- Software development and system integration of enterprise products.
- Building automation frameworks for testing and evaluating software solutions.
- Data ingestion, pipelines, transformation processes, and data validation.
- Performing end-to-end testing and monitoring for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish requirements and execute design for software projects.
- Analyze processes, recommend solutions, and deliver results.
- Develop documentation for new projects and review existing results.
- Use automation tools like Robot Framework and Selenium for QA.
- Write and execute SIT (System Integration Testing) test plans and cases.
- Validate data via SQL queries and verify expected results.
- Debug and troubleshoot defects, logging issues effectively.
- Apply CI/CD practices using Jenkins and other pipeline tools.
- Work with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby, JavaScript) and object-oriented languages such as Java.
