Role Overview
As a Cvent Intern User Research, you will support UX research initiatives across Cvent’s product ecosystem. You’ll work in an iterative development environment, collaborating with designers, product managers, analytics teams, customer support, marketing, and sales.
This role focuses on building deep user empathy, translating research findings into actionable insights, and helping teams measure and define product success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct evaluative research such as:
- Usability testing
- Card sorting
- Tree testing
- Heuristic evaluations
- Support generative research to define problem spaces using:
- Contextual inquiry
- Ethnography
- Data mining
- Create testable hypotheses and validate them using research insights
- Synthesize and clearly communicate findings to cross-functional teams
- Perform qualitative data analysis and assist with coding efforts
- Support survey design, execution, and statistical analysis
- Conduct secondary research, competitive analysis, and market scans
- Collaborate with small research teams to evolve Cvent’s User Research practice
- Apply user-centered design principles, human factors, and research methodologies throughout the product lifecycle
