Role Overview
As an Associate Engineer in the Modem-RF Software team, you will work on developing and validating software for Qualcomm’s Modem-RF Wireless chipsets. The role involves close collaboration with RF hardware, modem, baseband, ASIC, and test engineering teams to deliver high-performance wireless communication solutions.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in embedded software, RF systems, and wireless communication technologies, and who want hands-on exposure to real-world modem and RF software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate software for Qualcomm Modem-RF Wireless chipsets
- Design and optimize drivers for Modem-RF transceivers
- Work closely with RF Hardware, Modem/Baseband, and ASIC teams
- Develop and optimize Modem and RF Transceiver algorithms
- Improve system performance, RF testability, and factory yield
- Investigate complex RF and modem issues in cross-functional environments
- Collaborate with physical layer teams to deliver new modem features
- Support product development cycles through testing and validation
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent
- Degrees in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science may also be considered
