Role Overview
As an Associate Software Engineer at Blue Yonder, you will manage the Varstreet application and support the Hardware Sales team in accurate order processing. You will also provide operational support, generate reports, and contribute to process optimization. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and modern development frameworks.
You will work with cross-functional teams, learning about software architecture, cloud solutions, and SaaS platforms. This role will strengthen your foundation in software engineering, application administration, and reporting while enhancing your problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Application Administration & Governance
- Maintain Varstreet application settings, user roles, and permissions
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
- Monitor application performance and escalate issues
Order Processing Support
- Assist the Hardware Sales team with order entry, validation, and processing
- Troubleshoot order-related issues and coordinate resolutions
- Maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance
Operational Support & Optimization
- Provide L1/L2 support for Varstreet users
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate basic reports on order status and application performance
- Support data validation and reconciliation for sales and inventory reporting
Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with Sales, IT, and Procurement teams
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to user enablement materials
