Role Overview
As an Associate / Intern – Software Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers and managers to design, build, and maintain high-performance applications. The role involves both frontend and backend development, exposure to cloud infrastructure, data engineering pipelines, and security-compliant systems used in regulated healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
- Develop new features and supporting infrastructure for evolving business needs
- Design and implement client-side and server-side architecture
- Build responsive interfaces using ReactJS, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Develop backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, and AsyncIO
- Implement asynchronous programming for high-performance APIs
- Design and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Snowflake
- Contribute to data pipelines using PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Kafka, and RabbitMQ
- Deploy applications on AWS using EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, and CloudFront
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
- Ensure security and compliance with standards like GDPR and HIPAA
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
- 0–2 years of relevant industry or internship experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Node.js
- Hands-on exposure to frontend development using ReactJS or Next.js
- Understanding of API design, data governance, and security best practices
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
- Exposure to big data technologies like Spark and ETL tools such as Airflow or dbt
- Familiarity with ML/AI frameworks including Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Knowledge of MLOps tools like MLflow or Kubeflow
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
